Those in 2º who are on the Bilingual Programme are currently doing some project work in History and Culture of Religions. They are studying the history of religion in the United Kingdom, and will be doing presentations of their work in the next couple of weeks!
The class has been split into three groups, with the first group looking at religion in the UK up until the first missionaries, the second group investigating the first missionaries up until the time of Henry VIII and the third group studying from Henry VIII to the present day.
Below you can see a couple of videos from the UK children's TV series 'Horrible Histories'. The first one is a song about all the kings and queens of England from William the Conqueror until the present day. We've been learning about several of them in class. The second video is about the wives of Henry VIII. Can you remember the order of his wives and what happened to all of them???
Los alumnos de 2º del Programa Bilingüe están haciendo un proyecto para Historia y cultura de las religiones. Están estudiando la historia de la religión en el Reino Unido y dentro de un par de semanas harán presentaciones de su trabajo.
Se ha dividido la clase en tres grupos. El primero de ellos se centrará en la religión del Reino Unido hasta los primeros misioneros; el segundo, desde de los primeros misioneros hasta Enrique VII; y el tercero, desde Enrique VIII hasta la actualidad.
Debajo podéis ver un par de vídeos della serie de televisión británica para niños "Horrible stories". El primer vídeo es una canción sobre los reyes y reinas de Inglaterra desde Guillermo el Conquistador hasta la actualidad. El segundo es sobre las esposas de Enrique VIII. ¿Recuerdas el orden de las esposas y qué les pasó a cada una de ellas?
