This weekend, two new animals arrived at Edinburgh Zoo. Normally this wouldn't make the news, but these two have got everyone talking. Tian Tian and Yang Guang are giant pandas, and arrived in Scotland at lunch time on Sunday after a nine-hour flight from southwest China. They flew to Edinburgh Airport on a special 'panda express' flight just for them, and keepers at the zoo say they are settling in well, but are a little bit jet-lagged! Visitors to the zoo will be able to see them in a couple of weeks, once they've settled in. These pandas are the first to come to the UK for 17 years and will be at Edinburgh Zoo for at least ten years. Pandas are an endangered species, so everyone is hoping that the pair will have cubs at some time in the future.
